Open Positions

If you are interested and have background in robotics and autonomy please send an email to me at applicant.mobility@jpl.nasa.gov. I and my colleagues will try our best to reply; but we are not always able to reply to all messages.

The JPL-funded positions in our group are limited to post-docs and graduate students (mainly PhD and occasionally master’s students with strong software skills).

Post-doc positions:

Interested applicant should send an email to applicant.mobility@jpl.nasa.gov with [postdoc] in the email subject. Postdoc positions are available both for US citizens and foreign nationals. Typically, post-doc positions need to be filled immediately. So, it is good to have your resume in the candidate pool before positions open up.

Internship positions:

For students (internships), due to new NASA/JPL rules, almost all of funded positions are limited to US citizens or US permanent residents. There are some rare exceptions, if there is a high alignment between the students research and the JPL project.

Visiting student/post-doc positions:

Visiting positions are available for both US citizens and foreign nationals. Visiting positions require external funding sources (e.g., scholarship from a research institution, school, or research assistantship from the advisor, etc.). If you are interested in an internship or postdoc positions via visiting scholar program and you have external funding, send an email to applicant.mobility@jpl.nasa.gov with [visiting] in the email subject. Each semester, we typically have a few openings for visiting students/interns. The timing and project direction for visiting positions are more flexible than paid positions.

Current Open Postions:
